This simulation is designed to allow the learner to practice reading and interpretation of a variety of Antimicrobial susceptibility tests.
Learning Objectives:
Analyze susceptibility testing results using a Standard operating procedure guideline document.
Read and interpret antimicrobial susceptibility discs and strips.
Read and interpret a microbroth dilution test.
Answer questions related to Antimicrobial susceptibility testing and results.
Simulation Modality:
Virtual gaming simulation / virtual patientEvalution/Validation:
This simulation’s scenario and script were formally peer-reviewed by two external institutions, then the final simulation was pilot tested by several students on a student testing committee then as part of the Virtu-WIL Student Program’s rollout.
