This simulation is designed to allow the learner to practice reading and interpretation of a variety of Antimicrobial susceptibility tests.

Learning Objectives:

Analyze susceptibility testing results using a Standard operating procedure guideline document.

Read and interpret antimicrobial susceptibility discs and strips.​

Read and interpret a microbroth dilution test.​ ​

Answer questions related to Antimicrobial susceptibility testing and results.

Simulation Modality:

Virtual gaming simulation / virtual patient

Evalution/Validation:

This simulation’s scenario and script were formally peer-reviewed by two external institutions, then the final simulation was pilot tested by several students on a student testing committee then as part of the Virtu-WIL Student Program’s rollout.
