- Provide patient-centered care incorporating the principles of culturally sensitive care.
- Recognize a cardiac arrest and activate the emergency response system early.
- Perform high-quality single-rescuer CPR and multi-rescuer team CPR.
- Communicate effectively with the members of the care team (using SBAR) to promote effective decision-making.

This simulation’s scenario and script were formally peer-reviewed by two external institutions, then the final simulation was pilot tested by several students on a student testing committee then as part of the Virtu-WIL Student Program’s rollout.
