- Conduct assessments appropriate for care of a pediatric patient in a developmentally appropriate, organized, and systematic manner.
- Interact with the pediatric client in a developmentally appropriate manner during assessment and interventions to provide a positive healthcare experience.
- Communicate openly with the family during a healthcare interaction enabling the family to support treatment and ensuring family-centered care.
- Identify priority nursing actions based on assessment and clinical data.
