The learner simulation scenario is that an EMS crew has been dispatched to a ski hill for a 30 y/o female injured skier with altered mental status and a head injury.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate clinical care and treatment planning by collaborating with Ski Patrol
  2. Recognize the need for rapid trauma assessment and transport
  3. Demonstrate correct care for a neurogenic shock
  4. Demonstrate correct technique and decision-making of airway management care for a compromised trauma patient
