This game focuses on knowledge of prostate cancer, and the communication skills required to guide the client and their spouse in making treatment decisions.

Learning Objectives:

Apply appropriate therapeutic communication techniques when interacting with a client who has recently been dx with cancer to foster a therapeutic relationship.

Assess current support systems of the client who has been recently diagnosed with cancer to provide family centered care.

Assess the client and family’s educational needs after receiving a cancer diagnosis to provide family centered education
