Simulation Canada has identified over 50 simulation centres and programs to date. The SIM Centre Directory includes programs from the university, college, hospital and non-profit sectors.
Simulation Canada defines a simulation centre as a physical space where simulation is employed for health professions education. Simulation activities can include technical skills training (manikins, task trainers), role playing, virtual reality and blended simulation. This directory also includes programs—not defined by physical space—that employ simulation for health professions education or quality improvement.
