- Identify the postoperative assessments of surgical patient with an epidural infusion for postoperative pain management.
- Demonstrate appropriate nursing and collaborative interventions to manage post-operative pain.
- Demonstrate appropriate nursing and collaborative interventions to manage complications of a patient with an epidural infusion for post operative pain and symptom management.
- Communicate with members of the interdisciplinary team using a communication tool to ensure timely reporting and/updating of a postoperative patient with pain and potential complications from an epidural pain management intervention.
