The Dr. Herbert Ho Ping Kong Centre for Excellence in Education and Practice (CEEP) at the University Health Network was founded in 2008 by Drs. Rodrigo B. Cavalcanti and Herbert Ho Ping Kong to support training in academic General Internal Medicine. CEEP’s purpose is to educate, recruit and retain outstanding candidates for scholarly careers in General Internal Medicine. The Centre is committed to integrating simulation into workplace-based educational activities in internal medicine and pioneering new ways of using simulation for assessing multiple competencies in internal medicine practice. Through its bursaries and scholarships, CEEP is also helping build the human capital needed for practice and research in medical education.
