Patient has been admitted to an inpatient unit with nausea and vomiting x48 hours, as a result he is experiencing complications with his diabetes. Patient is received with decreased LOC and is lethargic. Learners are to perform a focused assessment, apply nursing knowledge to prioritize care, and demonstrate safe medication administration best practice.

Scenario was testing using second year undergraduate nursing studnts.  This was a little advanced for this level should be used on 3rd (acute care setting clinical) or fourth year undergraduate nursing.
