Advocacy for Simulation

As the national network connecting over 200 simulation centres/programs and 4,000 experts in simulation, we are collectively Canada’s interprofessional voice for simulation.

We advocate externally to advance simulation and its impact on workforce development, service quality, and patient safety. We forge collaborations with influential organizations – other NGOs, quality councils, regulators, government, and industry – to help them understand the roles simulation can play to address major social challenges.

We advocate internally to the simulation community, for better quality, sustainability, and innovation in the field of simulation itself, and to help simulation champions influence their peers and leaders.

We need your input! Since we are starting to formalize our advocacy efforts, we welcome guidance about what would be most helpful and impactful for our community. Please contact Tim Willett, president & CEO, with your suggestions or to join this work.
