Learners engage in real-time conversations with AI patients — simulated characters presenting complex scenarios across dementia care, de-escalation, and culturally safe interactions — and receive immediate feedback on their communication skills. The platform serves both individual learners through self-directed study and institutions through a cohort-based instructor portal with analytics and case assignment tools.

Caregiver VR

Caregiver VR is an immersive virtual reality empathy training platform built by Kaleidoscope XR for healthcare workers, PSWs, and dementia caregivers. In a multi-user simulation, one trainee experiences dementia firsthand — including live visual and auditory hallucinations, memory confusion, and sensory distortions — while a second trainee practices caregiving in real time, responding to those symptoms as they unfold. This goes far beyond traditional training methods like weighted gloves or videos, creating visceral, experiential understanding that fundamentally shifts how caregivers relate to the people in their care.
