The SimSinai Centre (formally known as PREPS) was established at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2001. The SimSinai Centre has been a key place for the teaching of critical resuscitation skills and employs a core faculty focusing on adult, neonatal and obstetrical emergencies. Instructors hold certifications by the Canadian Resuscitation Institute (CRI), Heart and Stroke Foundation (ACLS, BCLS) and specialized simulation certifications from Harvard, Israel and SIM-one. The SimSinai Centre houses five high-fidelity adult-size simulators and two neonatal simulators, as well as many lower-fidelity manikins and devices.
