Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Simulation Centres provide high-quality, evidence-informed simulation-based education across nursing and health sciences. Each year, the centres support more than 2,300 students from 22 programs through intentionally designed learning experiences that connect classroom knowledge with clinical practice.

Simulation provides learners with safe, structured opportunities to apply knowledge, practice clinical and communication skills, make decisions, work as part of a team, and learn through reflection. Experiences are designed around clear learning objectives and follow simulation best practices, including preparation, prebriefing, facilitation, feedback, and debriefing.

Through realistic and progressively challenging experiences, learners have opportunities to practice, reflect, receive feedback, and build competence and confidence before entering clinical practice. This approach helps prepare graduates to provide safe, collaborative, and person-centered care.
