The Queen’s University Patient Simulation Lab, located in the School of Nursing, was established in 2005 as a centre for nursing and interprofessional clinical education and simulation, and consists of three flexible simulation/clinical skills labs with separate control rooms. Faculty at the School of Nursing have engaged in the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing and interprofessional simulations for pre- and post-licensure learners. Our goal is to promote excellence in clinical care and enhance patient welfare through simulation-based educational programs and research.
