The Nursing Learning Resource Centre at Brock University houses a 10-bed patient simulation lab. Simulation is an integral part of our curriculum and is embedded throughout all four years of the program. Our simulation activities range from basic care scenarios to cardiac arrests to pediatric and newborn cases. We are creative and dynamic in our approach to learning via simulation. We are also involved in many interprofessional education initiatives and have formed strong partnerships with the McMaster Medical School and the Niagara College Paramedic program.
