The Baycrest Centre for Learning, Research and Innovation aims to enhance the quality of seniors’ care in Ontario through education, research, innovation, evidence-based service delivery and design, and knowledge transfer.
Through the Centre, Baycrest will establish an innovative, multi-faceted model to develop and support the current and next generations of skilled healthcare professionals in seniors’ care and drive new discoveries to enhance quality within long-term care settings. This new centre is positioned within the Centre for Education and Knowledge Exchange in Aging at Baycrest. The activities and training program of the Centre will be continuously evaluated to identify implementation gaps, barriers and facilitators.
We evaluate innovative educational approaches to enhance interprofessional geriatric competencies in the current and next generations of skilled healthcare providers in seniors’ care.
