On March 31, students from St. Lawrence College celebrated the 2014 Simulation Olympics. The full-day annual Simulation Olympics engaged students with fun, engaging and educational competition.
“This is our second annual Sim Olympics here at St. Lawrence College in our simulation lab. Working in teams of three, our second-year BScN students were involved in a simulated patient scenario using their critical thinking and nursing skills to work together as a team to achieve a successful outcome,” said Silvio Ferrucci, Simulation Technologist at St. Lawrence College.
Several student-led teams competed, including “The Festering Boils”, “The IV Leaguers”, “No Scrubs”, “The Resuscitators”, “The Hepatitis A-ces”, “The Bowel Regime”, and the Gold Medalist “The GI Jills”.
